1. What can I use Nabbesh for?
Create a profile, list your skills and imbed samples of your work. When an opportunity that matches your skills is created, Nabbesh will send you notifications.
Search for people with specific skills/ expertise and hobbies within a certain location
Hire people with the skillset you need by posting a “job”. All applications will be sent to your mailbox on Nabbesh.
2a. Nabbesh do's
If you are an expert/ skill provider, make sure to complete your profile with accurate information. This will help potential employers or other people in the Nabbesh community know more about you, your character, your hobbies and your work. The more information you fill about your skill in the "skill description" field, the higher your chances become to be picked up in search results.
If you are an employer and need to hire someone with a specific skillset, be very specific in what you need in order to get quality applications. Also putting a detailed description of what you need, will help us send accurate notifications to people who might be interested in applying.
Make sure all relevant requirements are included in the "description" field and do not redirect people to external sites.
Connect with people with similar hobbies if you are interested in forming a group of like-minded individuals
2b. Nabbesh don'ts
Do not post several skills wanted which refer to the same job
Do not share your contact details with anyone and make use of the "in-mail" services hosted by Nabbesh for added security and privacy
Posting opportunities for the following is prohibited:
- The buying/selling or renting of goods.
- Commission only jobs.
- Escort or adult entertainment industry work. Medical or experimental trials.
Posting such jobs will result in terminating your account with Nabbesh. Please refer to the terms & privacy for more information
Note: We reserve the right to prevent the posting of any new opportunity, or remove any new opportunity that we believe is not relevant, does not have value or does not fit within these guidelines for posting on Nabbesh, with or without notice. In the interests of the Nabbesh community, we reserve the right to delete accounts of any members who breach these guidelines.
3. What is a skill?
A skill is an expertise that you have in a certain field. Any person can have several skills across a variety of fields. A skill can range from expert skills i.e. accounting, event management, nurse, etc. to a light skill i.e. dog walking, house sitting, gardening, etc. Generally for Nabbesh, a skill is something that you would like to use to perform work for others and earn money as well as a rating for doing a certain job.
4. How many skills can I add?
You can add as many skills as you like however we would recommend not adding more than 5 skills. If you have several skills in one field i.e. marketing communication, marketing planning, brand management, etc. try to add all these details in the "description" field and use a more general title such as "communication consultant" or "marketing consultant"
5. What is a hobby?
A hobby is an activity that you are passionate about and practice often or even moderately. You can connect with people with similar hobbies on Nabbesh should you wish to do so. Generally a hobby is something you do for free. If you want to charge for your hobby then it becomes a skill and should be listed under your skills.
6. How many hobbies can I add?
You can add as many hobbies as you like.
7. What is a "skill wanted"?
The same concept as a skill, it is an expertise that you need for a certain project whether you are a company or an individual.
Be specific about the type of skills you need in order to get accurate applications.
8. How many "skills wanted" can I add?
You can add as many skills wanted as you need.
